Assisting the development of Paramedics working Internationally

The Paramedic Profession is an international phenomenon, which historically originated almost simultaneously in the United States and the United Kingdom in 1970, with certain other countries, including Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland, and Canada creating similar initiatives.  In the years that have followed there has been a degree of international working by paramedics, but the movement of paramedics between the UK and the USA has been limited. To help facilitate international paramedic working between these countries providing enhanced professional development opportunities and to meet vacancies in both countries Newton London has developed a specific company with partners in the UK and the United States. Services in General

The design of Ambulance and Emergency Medical Services continues to be one of the most important variables in the effectiveness of services for patients and also for workforce satisfaction, influencing clinical effectiveness and productivity in many often complex ways, most of which are amenable to improvement.

Yet despite nearly 50 years of research to draw upon and many major technological developments may ambulances services around the world often cling to outmoded concepts of operation that are bad for patients and staff. There are very few services that cannot be improved and indeed building a culture that is open and supportive of continuous quality improvement is one of the greatest challenges to system leaders.

Well directed consultancy support can play an important role in change management and can help facilitate positive developments that improve value for money and patient outcomes and operates across a large range of activities and also serves a variety of industries that have similar needs.  Examples of the type of assignments that have been undertaken recently are listed and bespoke consultancy projects, both in the UK and around the world are available.

Newton London also offers a range of services to Industries and sectors that articulate with Emergency Medical Services
